The beauty of the landscape in Yantai has inspired Shan Shui painters for centuries and has made the region's artists famous beyond its borders. Shan Shui paintings follow a systematic composition with strong symbolic design elements arranged in great harmony. We have used the beauty of the existing landscape and the systematic composition of Shan Shui painting for our design. Thus, we have elaborated the existing landscape images on the coast and assigned new functions and uses to them. In this way, the valuable and identity-generating structures are to be preserved and made accessible to tourists. In some sections we have tried to show the development potential from a landscape used for agricultural industry to an ecologically valuable landscape.
