Dresden, 2004
The concept is based on an organic design reflecting the buildings language. The campus is divided into two entities, the Krippenplatz (toddlers playground) and kindergarten playground. An asphalt course connects both areas and leads around the building. Additionally, paved areas and lawns provide a wide range of possibilities for play. The kindergarten playground is designed to be a hilly area with several peaks. In the valleys a sand play area, various play structures as well as a climbing structure are located. On the highest point of the hill a slide is installed and benches are integrated into the hillside. Through the winter months the hills can be used for tobogganing.
